We’re celebrating Sant Jordi with a special agenda in Barcelona and Cancún
At Eboca Restaurants, we present an attractive program to celebrate the Sant Jordi festival, which will take place from Tuesday, April 21 to Saturday, April 25 at several of our establishments. This year, we will offer: special menus, literary activities, and unique experiences for all lovers of gastronomy and culture.
Literary Activities and Book Signings:
On April 23, from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM, there will be a book signing with prominent authors: Pere Cardona, author of El mundo en guerra, and Javier Traité, author of Historia torcida de España, Historia torcida de la literatura, and Conquistadores secundarios en la Terrassa de Pelai (Catalonia Ramblas). Additionally, at Contempo Gastrobar (Catalonia Plaça Catalunya), Javier Campo, author of Método Maître, will be signing his new book from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
Artistic Experience:
At Simultáneo (Catalonia Barcelona Plaza), attendees can enjoy the “Art & Wine” activity on April 23, where they can paint their own canvas while tasting wine and cocktails, accompanied by live music from a pianist. This experience will take place from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM and will cost €39.50, including artistic materials and drinks. Reservations can already be made through their website.
Special Menus (available on 04/23 except for Memòries, which will be available from 04/21 to 04/25):
– Les Finestres de Llúria (Catalonia Eixample 1864): Special menu for €45 that includes some of their classic appetizers like homemade cod fritters with romesco sauce.
– Ascent (Catalonia Catedral): Special menu for €40 that includes the traditional Sant Jordi bread with sobrasada and cheese, and a dessert designed for the occasion: strawberry soup with apple blossom, cinnamon, and rose petals.
– Palmer (Renaissance Barcelona FIRA): Special tasting menu for €40 consisting of a starter, cold and hot tapas, main course, desserts, and petit fours.
– Pelai (Catalonia Ramblas): Special menu for €35 with drinks included and several options to choose from.
– La Terrassa de Pelai (Catalonia Ramblas): The same special menu as Pelai will be served.
– Filigrana (Catalonia Barcelona Plaza): Special menu for €70 with a welcome cocktail, oysters, creamy rice with prawn carpaccio, and “30-day” aged beef chop, among others.
– Kurai (Catalonia Barcelona Plaza): Original tasting menu for €70 with dishes like a shiso taco with Ametlla tuna, kizami, and sea urchin yolks, or Wagyu Chirashi from Kagoshima, egg yolk, and onion cream with kaffir lime.
– Memòries (Catalonia Grand Costa Mujeres): Across the ocean, the Mexican-Catalan restaurant will offer a special package for two people at $150, which includes two seasonal tasting menus and a bottle of wine, available all week.
Additionally, on April 23, all diners will receive roses and bookmarks at all group restaurants as part of the celebration of this emblematic festival.
