Filigrana Santo Domingo celebrates a Grand Pairing Dinner with Sommelier Ferran Centelles
The Catalonia Santo Domingo hotel held a grand five-course pairing dinner with Spanish sommelier Ferran Centelles on August 15th. The five-course dinner took place at the Filigrana Restaurant.
During the dinner, guests were able to immerse themselves in an extraordinary culinary experience in the pursuit of harmony, balance, and contrasts of aroma and flavour between dishes and wines, led by Ferran Centelles.
Ferran is a writer, educator, and winner of international awards in the fields of enology and gastronomy. During the dinner, he shared his knowledge and vast experience by guiding a tasting where attendees enjoyed five Spanish wines paired with five dishes featuring Mediterranean and Caribbean touches, successfully creating the perfect balance of Flavors.
The tasting, organized by the Catalonia Santo Domingo hotel and held at the hotel’s Filigrana Restaurant, was sponsored by Exclusive Traveler Club and Sembra República Dominicana.
