Gastronomic Days “Un Paseo por República Dominicana”. Filigrana SD.

The greatness of a country lives in its culture, its people, and, of course, its cuisine. From February 23rd to March 1st, we celebrated our first Gastronomic Week of the year: “A Journey Through the Dominican Republic,” a culinary tribute through which we honor our independence with the flavors that represent us as a nation.

Dominican cuisine is the result of centuries of history: a meeting point of Indigenous roots, African influences, and European heritage that has shaped a vibrant and unique culinary identity. From the most traditional dishes to lesser-known recipes, each preparation carries a story, awakens memories, and strengthens the bond that unites us as a people.

During this celebration, we presented a carefully designed proposal that highlights the culinary diversity of our island. The freshness of seafood, the depth of stews and roasts, and the contemporary reinterpretation of traditional recipes brought to life a journey that always kept the essence of our origins at its core.

Corn, coconut, cassava, plantain, and other treasures from our land became the protagonists of an experience that celebrated the authenticity of our ingredients and the art of transforming them into memorable dishes. Because cuisine is a language that unites, and in every bite we felt the passion and pride of being Dominican.

More than a gastronomic proposal, this week was a tribute to our identity: a space to celebrate our culture, our roots, and our stories. Food is culture, memory, and emotion, and every dish in our tradition tells a story worth preserving.

Thank you for being part of this experience and for allowing us to share with you the essence of our Dominican Republic through its gastronomy.
